Welcome to the forum, Rigo, but I believe that the more proper term, as used by the esteemed literary writers here in Bart's forum, is "belch" or "burp". Unlike other motorcycle forums, we do try to use more delicate language.

Generally, I don't know why owners keep griping about this feature of the Savage. I think a good loud backfire keeps the cagers on their toes, and my husband can hear me when I get into the garage by the gentle burp that emits when I turn the Suzi off.
